BOGUE CHITTO — The Bogue Chitto Bobcats and Lady ‘Cats wrappedup regular-season play Friday night with a pair of Division 8-1Awins over the Resurrection Eagles of Pascagoula.

Brian Robinson pumped in a game-high 22 points, grabbed 6rebounds and made 6 steals to lead the Bogue Chitto boys to a 51-28win over Resurrection.

The Lady ‘Cats whipped the Lady Eagles 60-23, powered by DarcyMiller’s 12 points.

Bogue Chitto hosts the Division 8-1A tournament this week. Thegames tip off Monday and Tuesday and resume Thursday and Friday.The Bobcats, seeded No. 4, play No. 5 Salem Monday night at7:30.

Grant Coon led the Eagles with 7 points.

Bogue Chitto 60, Resurrection 23

Coach Christi Terrell’s Lady ‘Cats (16-6, 12-0) are the No. 1seeds in the division tourney this week. They’ll play Thursday at 7p.m., awaiting the winner of the Dexter-Salem game.

Aneshia Dillon and Savannah Norman added support in the BogueChitto win with 9 points apiece. Norman led off the backboards with6 rebounds.

For the Lady Eagles, Iris Hartman netted 15 points.
