Services for Fannie Mae Prestridge Adams, of Brookhaven, will beheld at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at Brookhaven Funeral Home onNorth Jackson Street with burial in Mt. Pleasant Baptist ChurchCemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 10 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Adams, 87, died Feb. 10, 2008, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on Aug. 6, 1920, to RobertJenkins and Sally Buitt Jenkins.

She was retired. She was a member of Moak’s Creek BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands, John A.Prestridge Sr. and John Quincy Adams Sr.; three brothers; and threesisters.

Survivors are her son, John A. Prestridge Jr. and wife MargaretJane, of New Hebron; her daughters, Marlene Hall Bales and JohnnieFaye Coone, both of Bogue Chitto; her 10 grandchildren and fivegreat-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
