Services for Tim Reed, of Brookhaven and formerly of Summit, are2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Catchings Funeral Home of McComb withburial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Summit. The Rev. Jerry Sullivan willofficiate.

Visitation will be Monday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Reed, 36, died Feb. 16, 2008, at the University ofMississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born on Jan. 11, 1972in McComb. He was the son of Gladys Cruse Reed and the late BilboReed.

He was of the Pentecostal faith.

He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, James Reed;and a sister, Annette Reed.

He is survived by his mother, Gladys Cruse Reed and stepfather,W.C. Earnest; four brothers, Ronnie Reed and wife, Lavone, ofSummit, Elvis Reed, of Summit and fiancé, Tina Mann, StephenBarnett and Ted Barnett, both of Chickasaw County; five sisters,Sarah Ailene Wells and husband, Bobby, of Ackerman, Peggy Roho andhusband, Lewis, of Brookhaven, Doris Rushing and husband, Dave, ofEupora, Mary Wylie and husband, Lonnie, of Greenville, and PatsyCarson and husband, Billy, of Brookhaven; and numerous nieces,nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Billy Carson Jr., Mike Carson, Derek Carson,Jason Reed, Ronnie Reed and Elvis Reed.

Honorary pallbearer will be Billy Carson Sr.
