Services for Geraldine Anne Wilkinson, of Bude, will be held at1 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, at Christ’s Temple Apostolic FaithChurch in Bude with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery in Meadville.Marshall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 5:30 until 8 p.m. at the funeral homein Bude, and on Saturday at the church from 11 a.m. until the timeof the service.

Mrs. Wilkinson, 72, died Feb. 23, 2008, at MeadvilleConvalescent Home. She was born in New Orleans, La., on Nov. 13,1936, to Edward Adams and Luegenia Brooks Adams.

She attended B.T. Washington High School and A.P. Clay BibleCollege as missionary. She was an organist for many churches in theKenner-New Orleans area for many years. She was a member of theEastern Star Chapter 69 and the East Jefferson Prayer Band. She wasa member of Macedonia Baptist Church and St. Michael BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her mother; her sister, BarbaraAdams Goosey; and her brother, Hayward “Tom-Tom” Adams.

Survivors are her loving husband, Richard Wilkinson, of Bude;her daughters, Yvonne Marie Ward and Luegenia Marie Robinson; hersons, Roosevelt Proyer Jr., Edward Proyer, Albert Proyer and WayneLouis Proyer; her sisters, Betty Jean Jones and Beatrice Duncan;her former husband, Roosevelt Proyer Sr.; 17 grandchildren and ahost of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives andfriends.
