MCCOMB — Anna Katelyn Mangold smashed 2 doubles and 2 singlesFriday to lead the Brookhaven Academy Lady Cougars to a 16-6slowpitch softball victory over the McComb Parklane LadyPioneers.

Lindsey Nations (3-0) was the winning pitcher.

Contributing to the Brookhaven win with a pair of doubles and asingle was Laura Beth Wright. Betsy Lynch tripled and singledtwice. Kelli Snider, Layne Jordan and Shelby Farmer collected 2singles apiece. Doubling were Kellie Brady. Laina Laird and Nationssingled.

Brookhaven Academy visits ACCS Tuesday for two games. The juniorvarsity contest begins at 4 p.m. followed by the varsity at 5.
