Herrington paces Jackets over Bears

Trent Herrington struck out 7 batters and walked 1 Monday nightto lead the visiting Enterprise Yellow Jackets to a 12-6 win overthe West Lincoln Bears in baseball action. James Magee absorbed theloss with 1 strikeout and 5 walks.
At the plate, the Jackets outhit the Bears 16-6. West Lincolncommitted 3 errors to Enterprise’s 1.
“Trent Herrington did a great job throwing strikes,” saidEnterprise baseball coach Seth Lofton. “We hit the baseball fromtop to bottom. It was a great team effort.”
Powering the Jackets at the plate with a home run, a triple and2 singles was Peyton Greene. Jeremy Foster singled 3 times.Doubling twice was Ryan Kennedy. Matt Price doubled and singled.Tanner Delcambre hit a double and a single. Taylor Herrington,Tyler Herrington and Travis Leggett hit safely.
The Bears got a home run and a double from Zach Williams.Homering was Tyler Case. Brett Rushing, Micah Bivens and NathanielPruski singled.
West Lincoln is at Cathedral and Enterprise entertains McLaurinFriday night.
