William Dale O’Barr

Services for William Dale O’Barr, of Houston, Miss., will beheld at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, at Memorial Funeral HomeChapel on Starkville Road in Houston, with burial in ChickasawMemorial Gardens.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. O’Barr, 34, died April 22, 2008, at Trace Regional Hospitalin Houston. He was born in Amory on March 24, 1974, to Dennis DaleO’Barr and Hazel Kay Williams O’Barr.

He was a truck driver with Lance Transport. He was a member ofArbor Grove Baptist Church. He was a Mason and a member of CaneCreek Hunting Club.

Preceding him in death were his father; and his grandparents,Inez and William O’Barr, and Cecil and Gladys Williams.

Survivors are his mother, Kay Williams O’Barr, of Houston; hisdaughter, Kaitlyn Savannah O’Barr, of Houston; his son, WilliamDale O’Barr Jr., of Houston; his sister, Virginia O’Barr King andhusband Eddie, of Brookhaven; his niece, Makayla King; his nephews,Michael King and Matthew King; his fiancee, Eirka Leigh Hill andher children, Hanna Leigh Hill and Kaytlin Brooke Hill, all ofWoodland; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

John Armstrong Tullis

Services for John Armstrong Tullis, of Jayess, was held at 11a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel inMonticello with burial in Tilton United Methodist Church Cemeteryin Jayess.

Mr. Tullis, 77, died April 21, 2008, at New Dawn RetirementHome. He was born in Lawrence County on Dec. 22, 1930, to JohnJones Tullis and Della Rushing Tullis.

He was a retired farmer and cattleman. He was a member of theChurch of Christ.

Preceding him in death were his parents; two sons; sevensisters; and one great-granddaughter.

Survivors are his sister, Glenda Frazier, of Natchez; his fivegrandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
