Amanda ‘Mandy’ Harvey

Services for Amanda “Mandy” Harvey, of Monticello, were held at11 a.m. on Friday, April 25, at Divide Methodist Protestant Churchin Monticello with burial in Sauls Valley Baptist Church Cemeteryin Jayess. Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello was in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. Harvey, 28, died April 23, 2008, in Lawrence County. Shewas born in Monticello on Oct. 31, 1979, to Hugh White “Burt”Mullins and Carla Harvey.

She was a secretary with Farm Bureau Insurance in Monticello.She was a member of Divide Methodist Protestant Church.

Her father preceded her in death; and her son, Donavan ColeHarvey, died with her in an automobile accident.

Survivors are her mother; her husband, Donnie Harvey, ofMonticello; her son, Tucker Harvey, of Monticello; her daughter,Halle Harvey, of Monticello; her brothers, Ernie Mullins, ofOxford, Anthony Mullins, of Prentiss, and Dale Mullins, of Tilton;and her sister, Julie Johnston, of Greenbrier, Ark.

Donavan Cole Harvey

Services for Donavan Cole Harvey, 7, of Monticello, were held at11 a.m. on Friday, April 25, at Divide Methodist Protestant Churchin Monticello with burial in Sauls Valley Baptist Church Cemeteryin Jayess. Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello is in charge ofarrangements.

He died April 23, 2008, in Lawrence County. He was born inMcComb on June 10, 2000, to Donnie Harvey and Amanda “Mandy”Harvey.

He was a student in the second grade at Topeka Tilton School anda member of Divide Methodist Protestant Church in Monticello.

His mother, Amanda “Mandy” Harvey, died with him in anautomobile accident.

Survivors are his father, Donnie Harvey, of Monticello; hisbrother, Tucker Harvey, of Monticello; and his sister, HalleHarvey, of Monticello.

Juanita Gorenflo Smith

Services for Juanita Gorenflo Smith, of Brookhaven, will be heldat 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel onNorth Jackson Street with burial in Union Hall Baptist ChurchCemetery in Lincoln County.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Smith, 85, died April 23, 2008, at Haven Hall Health CareCenter. She was born in Brookhaven on Nov. 18, 1922, to Charles M.Gorenflo and Susie Day Gorenflo.

She was a homemaker and a member of Union Hall BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, HuvalSmith; her son, Bobby Lynn Smith; her sister, Evelyn Foster; andher brothers, Charles Gorenflo, Ishom Gorenflo and J.R.Gorenflo.

Survivors are her daughters, Dollie S. Rials and husband Harold,of Brookhaven, and Sylvia Allred and husband Wayne, of Bakersfield,Calif.; her sister, Bessie Norwood and husband Ed, of Brookhaven;her grandchildren, Dwayne Rials and wife Annette, Harold Ray Rialsand Sandra, Julia Allred and Michael Allred and wife Kelly; hergreat-grandchildren, Peyton and Ashton Rials, Mattie and OliviaRials, and Harrison and Justin Allred; and her special friend,Vernie Walker.
