BA girls whip Alpha

Brookhaven Academy’s Lady Cougars overpowered Alpha Christian inslowpitch softball action, romping 14-2 and 11-1. Lindsey Nations(10-3) was the winning pitcher in both games.

A triple and a single by Nations led BA’s offensive. KelliSnider hit 3 singles and Layne Jordan 2. Katelyn Cooksey, LainaLaird, Lauren Jordan, Kellie Brady and Anna Katelyn Mangold alsohit safely.

A home run and a single by Laura Beth Wright powered the LadyCougars. Snider singled and doubled. Jordan had 2 singles andMangold tripled.

Providing singles in the victory were Betsy Lynch, Hannah Watts,Nations, Laird and Shelby Farmer.
