Clayton Allen

Services for Clayton Allen, of Sumrall, were 4 p.m. Saturday,May 3, at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Columbia with burial inImprove Cemetery.

Mr. Allen, 72, died May 1, 2008, in Hattiesburg. He was a nativeof Belzoni.

He was a retired auto machinist. He was a member of ImproveBaptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents, William and EugeniaAllen.

Survivors are his wife, Ernestine Allen, of Sumrall; hisdaughters, Judy Boyd and husband Ed, of Brookhaven, and PhyllisFreeman and husband Pat, of McComb; his sons, Dennis Allen and wifeSharon, of Petal, and Bill Allen and wife Angie, of El Paso, Texas;his sisters, Nora Berch, of Hazlehurst, and Janie Dolan, ofPhoenix, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; and a number of nieces,nephews and other relatives.

Nellie M. Loving

Services for Nellie M. Loving, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. Sunday,May 4, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on North Jackson Street withburial in Rosehill Cemetery.

Mrs. Loving, 88, died May 2, 2008, at her residence. She wasborn in Pike County on July 2, 1919, to Walter Hodges and MarganieBrown Hodges.

She was a housewife and homemaker. She was a member ofPearlhaven Baptist Church and a past Matron of Order of the EasternStar.

Preceding her in death were her parents; eight brothers andsisters; her son, Lamar Wallace; and several grandchildren.

Survivors are her husband, Bill Loving; her son, Jamie Loving,of Bogue Chitto, and Lewis Wallace, of Chatawa; her daughters,Shirley Wallace Arnold and Peggy Wallace May, both of Smithdale; 11grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and sixgreat-great-grandchildren.

Memorials or gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society orthe Pearlhaven Baptist Church Building Fund.
