JACKSON – Franklin County’s Antonie Guice won gold in the 200and 400 meter sprint and finished third in the 100 to pace theFranklin County track team to a fourth place finish in the Class 3AState Track & Field Tournament Saturday afternoon.

Coached by Tony Gibbs and assisted by David Tadlock, theBulldogs used the quickness of Guice to make an impact. Guice, a4-year lettermen for the Bulldogs, is a highly touted speedsterwith several track scholarship offers.

Gibbs considers Guice one of the fastest track stars he’s evercoached at Franklin High. And after Saturday, Guice has the awardsto prove it.
