Services for Gladys K. Beasley, of Brookhaven, are 1 p.m.Friday, May 16, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inEasthaven Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Beasley, 67, died May 13, 2008, at St. Dominic-JacksonMemorial Hospital in Jackson. She was born in Forrest County(Brooklyn) on Nov. 21, 1940, to Henry L. Kahl and Icy ParkerKahl.

She was a homemaker who loved caring for her family. She was ofthe United Methodist faith and attended Abundant Life Church. Mrs.Beasley was a good and faithful companion to her husband and apastor’s wife for many years. She was a good mother to her fivechildren and a faithful servant of the Lord.

Her husband, Bro. Herb Beasley will officiate services. Theywould have celebrated 50 years of marriage on July 10. They weremarried in 1958.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors include her husband; one son, John Mark Beasley andhis wife, Kim, of Brookhaven; her four daughters, Rose M. Smith,and husband, Jeff, Patsy R. Barlow and husband, Carroll, Beverly S.Calcote and husband, Jerry, Regina G. Prather, all of Brookhaven;and one sister, Elsie Ezelle, of Longbeach, Miss.; 16grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Lisa Haley

Services for Lisa Haley, of Monticello, are 2 p.m., Friday, May16, at Monticello Methodist Protestant Church with burial inBethshan Cemetery in Monticello.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. at WilsonFuneral Home in Monticello.

Miss Haley, 50, died May 14, 2008, at Lawrence County NursingCenter. She was born on Oct. 16, 1957, to James E. Haley andRebecca Hicks Haley Boyd.

She was a retired waitress. She graduated from Monticello HighSchool in 1975 and worked for family owned restaurant, the formerSpin I Cone, in Monticello along with many others in the Monticelloarea. She was a member of the Monticello Methodist ProtestantChurch.

Preceding her in death was her mother.

Survivors include her father and stepmother James E. Haley andNelson Haley, of Brandon; her brothers, Jeff Haley, of Sulphur,La., Jimmy Haley, of Braxton, and Jay Haley, of Baton Rouge, La.;her nieces and nephews, Sabrina Haley Green, Drew Haley, CourtneyAtwood, Andy Haley, Christopher Haley and Connor Haley; hergreat-nieces and great-nephews, Raylin Green, Jase Green, DayneHaley, Kayleigh Atwood and Corbin Atwood.
