Services for Thomas Howard Bishop, of Arnold, Neb., wereThursday, June 19.

A memorial service was held in Arnold High SchoolAuditorium.

Mr. Bishop, 17, died June 14, 2008, at his residence. He wasborn in West Point, N.Y., on Dec. 2, 1990, to Allen Howard and RuthHoward Bishop, both formerly of Brookhaven.

His father was an assistant professor in the English departmentat the United States Military Academy around the time of his birth.Mr. Bishop had lived in Fort Leavenworth, Kan., and Vicenza, Italy,before moving to Arnold with his family.

Preceding him in death was his grandfather, Ivan C. Howard,former dean of Whitworth College.

Survivors are his parents; his grandparents, Jay Bishop and EdnaBishop, of Brookhaven, and Martha Howard, of Arnold; his threebrothers, Michael Bishop, Matt Bishop and Ben Bishop.

Honorary pallbearers were members of the Arnold High Schoolfootball and track teams.
