Services for Charley Martin Morris, of Bogue Chitto, are noonWednesday, July 23, at Wellman Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto withburial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service.

Mr. Morris, 76, died July 20, 2008, at Meadowview Health andRehab Center in Minden, La. He was born on Feb. 21, 1932, to HenryN. Morris and Nancy G. Mcaplin.

He was a retired oil field worker serving as a derrick man. Heserved in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member ofWellman Baptist Church. Mr. Morris was also a wonderful husband of48 years, a father, a grandfather and a wonderful friend toeveryone.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a son, John MichaelHunsucker; two sisters and two brothers.

Survivors are his wife, Mable S. Morris; his sons, SammyHunsucker and Dennis M. Morris and wife, Alexis; his daughters,Terry M. Pemberton and husband, Bill, and Pamela D. Thompson andhusband, John; his 23 grandchildren; and his 21great-grandchildren.
