Services for Kayla Dionne Evans, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Thursday, July 24, at St. James Missionary Baptist Church inBrookhaven with burial in New Hope Missionary Baptist ChurchCemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 1 until 6 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.

Mrs. Evans, 25, died July 18, 2008, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on April 19, 1983, to RobertDavis and Dianne Bledsoe Davis Harris.

She was a graduate of Bogue Chitto High School and attendedCopiah-Lincoln Community College. She was a sales consultant forCentennial Wireless. She was a member of China Lee MissionaryBaptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her paternal grandparents andgreat-grandparents.

Survivors are her husband; William Evans, of Isola; a daughter,Mikaila Evans, of Brookhaven; a son, Amos Mikail Evans, ofBrookhaven; her mother, Dianne Harris and husband, Frank, of Pearl;her father, Robert Davis, of Jackson; a sister, Romesha Knight andhusband, Travelyn, of Brookhaven; a brother, Deandreal Davis, ofBrookhaven; her grandparents, the Rev. Dr. Edward Earl and GlossieEarl, of Brookhaven; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews,cousins, friends and family.
