Services for Colin Norris Roberts, of Wesson, are 1 p.m. Monday,Aug. 18, at New Sight Baptist Church with burial in BeauregardCemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Roberts, 65, went home to be with his Lord and Savior onAug. 15, 2008, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. He was born onJan. 21, 1943, to J. J. Roberts and Bessie Reeves Roberts.

He was retired from Illinois Central Railroad after 35 years ofservice. He was a member of New Sight Baptist Church and lovedserving as Minister of Music there and also at Little BahaliaBaptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brother, LloydJulian Roberts; and his sister, Margie Roberts.

Survivors are his wife of 40 years, Carolyn Hayes Roberts; hissons, Larry Joe Lewis, of Wesson, and Mike Lewis and wife, Darlene,of Brandon; his brothers, Harold Roberts and wife, Francis, ofAlabama; his grandchildren, Drew Lewis of Madison and Anna Lewis ofBrandon; and many other relatives and friends.
