Services for Willie E. McGee, of Bogue Chitto, are 3 p.m.Monday, Sept. 15, at Calvary Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery. The Revs. Trent Bilbo and Hal Hatten willofficiate. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home andMonday from 2 until 3 p.m. at the church.

Mr. McGee, 70, died Sept. 13, 2008, in Brookhaven. He was bornon Jan. 11, 1938, to Virgil E. McGee and Maude Leggett.

He was the owner of Southern Electric Works and a member ofCalvary Baptist Church. He was a 1956 graduate of Bogue ChittoSchool and a 1958 graduate of Co-Lin, where he was inducted intothe Sports Hall of Fame in 2002.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and an infantdaughter.

Survivors are his wife of 51 years, Rowena McGee; his daughters,Cindy Wallace and husband, Gerald, Sandra Rials and husband,Harold, and Stacy Leake and husband, Jason, all of Bogue Chitto;his brothers, Joe McGee, of Bogue Chitto, and Jackie McGee, ofBrookhaven; his sister, Sarah Nell Rutledge, of Bogue Chitto; hisgrandchildren, Adam Wallace, Blake Wallace, Mattie Rials, GrantLeake, Olivia Rials and Karly Leake; and his great-grandchild,Cambrie Laken Wallace.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Leggett, Randy Leggett, Andrew McGee,Joe Dan Leggett, Dan Leggett, Tommy Sasser, Greg Allen and BrianRutledge.

Honorary pallbearers will be the co-owners and employees ofSouthern Electric Works and Southern Welding Supply.

Memorials or gifts may be made to the Calvary Baptist ChurchBuilding or Cemetery Fund.
