Services for Martha Pope, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. Saturday,Oct. 4, at Mary’s Temple Church of God in Christ with burial inSouth Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Prentiss.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 7 p.m. with family presentfrom 6 until 7 p.m. at R.E. Tyler Funeral Home.

Miss Pope, 31, died Sept. 25, 2008, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Laurel on May 14, 1977, to Willie J. Popeand Gloria Pope.

Survivors are her father, Willie J. Pope, of Mt. Olive; hermother, Gloria Pope, of Brookhaven; her sons, Devante Pope andDanteel Witherspoon, both of Brookhaven; and a daughter, KalinRachel Kirby, of Brookhaven.
