Services for Celestine Dillon, of Brookhaven, are 1 p.m.Thursday, Oct. 9, at Macedonia Baptist Church in Brookhaven withburial in Hillcrest Cemetery in Brookhaven. The Rev. Leathon Mageewill officiate services.

Visitation is Wednesday from noon until 8 p.m. at Craft FuneralHome in McComb and Thursday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at thechurch.

Mrs. Dillon, 88, died Oct. 1, 2008, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter in Brookhaven. She was born in Pike County on May 30, 1920,to Marshall Otis and Pearlie Alexander Otis.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Grace Community BaptistChurch in Brookhaven.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, HardingDillon; a daughter; her two sisters; and her three brothers.

Survivors are her daughters, Laverne Edmonds, of Brookhaven, andEtta Jean Goings, of Oakland, Calif.; a son, Cornelius Dillon, ofBaton Rouge, La.; her sisters, Yvonne Harness, of Oakland, Calif.,and Viola Dillon, of Vallejo, Calif.; her five grandchildren; herfive great-grandchildren; and her nieces, nephews and otherrelatives and friends.
