Services for Johnnie Mae Tyler, of Chicago, Ill. formerly ofBrookhaven, are 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, at Progressive BaptistChurch in Chicago with burial in Homewood Cemetery in Chicago.Taylor Funeral Home in Chicago is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Tyler, 92, died Oct. 26, 2008, in Chicago. She was born inBrookhaven on Feb. 16, 1916, to John Wilson and Ella SmithWilson.

She was a graduate of Gulledge School in Brookhaven. She was aretired restaurant owner in Chicago. She was a member ofProgressive Baptist Church in Chicago.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, JohnW. Tyler, and a brother, James Wilson.

Survivors are her sisters, Laura B. Sells, Ann Brown andJosephine Smith, all of Chicago.
