Services for Chester Lynn Fortenberry, of Wesson, are 3 p.m.Thursday, Oct. 30, at Strong Hope Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery. Community Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Thursday from 2 until 3 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Fortenbery, 53, died Oct. 29, 2008, at Central MississippiMedical Center in Jackson. He was born in Hazlehurst on Dec. 17,1954, to Jeff E. Fortenberry Sr. and Auba Nell BellFortenberry.

He was a welder.

Preceding him in death were his father; his grandparents, JosephHenry and Ruby Fortenberry; and Fred E. and Mittie Bell.

Survivors are his mother; a daughter, Alaina Lynn Fortenberry,of Smithville, Texas; his brothers, Jeff Fortenberry Jr., ofWesson, and Robert Fortenberry, of Crystal Springs; and a sister,Linda F. Dykes, of Wesson.
