Services for Martha Marie Troxell Calcote, of Wesson, are 2 p.m.Tuesday, Nov. 18, at First Baptist Church in Brookhaven with burialin Kennewick, Wash. Brookhaven Funeral Home’s Natchez Drivelocation is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of theservice at the church.
Mrs. Calcote, 80, died Nov. 11, 2008, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in New Haven, Conn., on Jan. 27, 1928,to Kenneth Charles Hendricks and Grace Paul Hendricks.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and joyful child ofGod. She was a graduate of Kimberly High School in Kimberly, Idaho,and Northwest Christian College. She was a retired missionary toJapan, a member of the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Instituteof Learning in Retirement and a member of the Darcus Sunday schoolclass at First Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and her first husband,Delbert Troxell.
Survivors are her husband, Ralph Victor Calcote; her son,Jonathan Mark Troxell; her stepsons, Stuart Calcote and BobCalcote; her daughters, Rebecca Carol Robertson, Teresa June Embreyand Colleen Ethel Carroll; her stepdaughters, Cherryl Duncan, NancyJackson and Janet Simmons; her brother, Paul Hendricks; her sister,Margaret Edwards; nine grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; threegrandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln CountyInc. or the Pension Fund of the Christian Church (Disciples ofChrist) Ministerial Relief Fund.
