Rollin L. Copelan Jr.

Services for Rollin L. Copelan Jr., of Bogue Chitto, are 3 p.m.Wednesday, Nov. 26, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Bogue Chittowith burial in the church cemetery.

Mr. Copelan, 62, died Nov. 25, 2008, at his residence. He wasborn on Oct. 25, 1946, to Rollin L. Copelan Sr. and Eva NellSharpling Copelan.

He was a self-employed business owner working as anenvironmental inspector. Mr. Copelan served in the U.S. ArmyNational Guard. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Sharon Burns Copelan; his sons, ChrisCopelan and wife, Teresa, of Picayune, Alan Copelan and wife,Tisha, of Bogue Chitto, and Derrell Copelan and wife, Tracy, ofSummit; his five grandchildren, Heath, Hannah B., Kaylee, Bryanaand Hannah C.; and a great-grandchild, McKaela.

Letha Mae Nations

Services for Letha Mae Nations, of the Wellman community inBogue Chitto, are 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at Brookhaven FuneralHome Chapel on Natchez Drive with burial in Wellman Baptist ChurchCemetery in Bogue Chitto.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Nations, 72, died Nov. 24, 2008, at Forrest GeneralHospital in Hattiesburg. She was born in Brookhaven on Sept. 7,1936, to Robert Moak and Lillie Mae Roberts Moak.

She was a retired maintenance worker with Fountain Electric. Shewas a very active member of Wellman Baptist Church. Mrs. Nationswas a loving mother and was very strong in her faith. She lovedanimals and gardening and will be greatly missed.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, WesleyNations; and a brother, Jack Moak.

Survivors are her sons, Richard Nations and wife, Tonya, andScott Nations and wife, Kathy; her daughters, Vicki Moak and SandraGriffith and husband, Mike, all of Bogue Chitto; a brother, BobMoak, of Brookhaven; her sisters, Retha Mae Smith, of Baker, La.,and Christine Gibson, of Brookhaven; her grandchildren, Zach andChris Moak, Sabrina Wolff and husband, Chris, Brandi and ShelleyGriffith, Lane and Josh Nations and Carlin Nations.
