Services for Larry Gatlin Sr., of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Saturday, Nov. 29, at Brookhaven Living Word Center Church withburial in Dillon Hill Cemetery in Tylertown. The Rev. TerrellBrinson will officiate. Craft Funeral Home in McComb is in chargeof arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 7 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Gatlin, 55, died Nov. 20, 2008, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter in Brookhaven. He was born in Lincoln County on Aug. 26,1953, to John Gatlin and Valena Dillon Gatlin.

He was a self-employed carpenter. Mr. Gatlin served in the U.S.Army. He was a member of Brookhaven Living Word Center Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his three brothers; andhis two sisters.

Survivors are his wife, Lisa Tucker Gatlin; his sons, LarryGatlin Jr. and wife, Nicole, Laramie Green, all of Brookhaven, andMyron Gatlin, of Fayetteville, N.C.; his daughters, Ladona Danielsand husband, Greg, of Fayetteville, and Valena Gatlin, of McComb; amother-in-law, Bobbie Tucker, of Portland, Ore.; a father-in-law,Hugh Tucker, of Gonzalez, La., a brother, Nathaniel Gatlin andwife, Ida, of Palmdale, Calif.; his sisters, Dorothy Skelton,Geraldine Childs, both of Inglewood, Calif., Evelyn Douglas,Gloria, Gatlin, Yvonne Gatlin, all of Los Angles, Calif., andJohnnie Ruth Gatlin, of Palmdale; his five grandchildren; andseveral nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
