Services for Margaret Rose Thornton Lane, of Brookhaven, were 11a.m. Friday, Nov. 28, at Big Springs Baptist Church with burial inthe church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez was incharge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lane, 67, died Nov. 26, 2008, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center in McComb. She was born in Brookhaven onApril 12, 1941, to Luther Thornton and Catherine Reid Thornton.

She was a former nurse. She was a member of Big Springs BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her two daughters and sons-in-laws, CatherineAinsworth and husband, Alan, of Brookhaven, and Joanna Nations andhusband, Anthony, of Bogue Chitto; a son and daughter-in-law, WayneHeathcock and wife, Sheri, of Brandon; her eight grandchildren; andher three great-grandchildren.
