Services for Ivie Joe Wall, of Liberty, are 2 p.m. Saturday,Dec. 20, at Mt. Zion M.B. Church in Bogue Chitto with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 7 p.m. with family presentfrom 6 until 7 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. Wall, 81, died Dec. 13, 2008, at his residence. He was bornin Lincoln County on April 6, 1927, to Elijah Wall and MariahEdwards Wall.

He attended Alexander High School. Mr. Wall retired fromBrookhaven Compress. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Wall was amember of Mt. Zion M.B. Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a sister, Madie MyersHopkins; his brothers, J. Hugh Wall, Howard C. Hall, Hary Wall,John McNulty, Willie Wall and Bordley Wall.

Survivors are his sisters, Ida Mae Williams, of Liberty, andElizabeth Wynn, of Suburban D.C., Md; a sister-in-law, MyrtisMcNulty, of Summit; and his many nieces, nephews, great nieces,great nephews, cousins and friends.
