Services for Freddie Lee Brown, of Brookhaven, are 3:30 p.m.Saturday, Feb. 7, at Beulah Chapel M.B. Church in Brookhaven withburial in New Hope Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 2 until 8 p.m. at Williams Mortuarywith family present from 7:30 until 8:30 p.m.

Mr. Brown, 64, died Feb. 2, 2009, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center in McComb. He was born in Lincoln County onAugust 17, 1944, to Winston Brown Sr. and Elizabeth HowardBrown.

He was a 1963 graduate of Alexander High School. He retired frommaintenance at Bogue Chitto Attendance Center. He was a member ofBeulah Chapel M.B. Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother, HurbertBrown; and a sister, Dorothy Daniels.

Survivors are his wife, Retha Richardson Brown, of Brookhaven; ason, Freddie Mantell Brown, of Brookhaven; his daughters, JennyLynn McLaurin and husband, Majectic, of Seattle, Wash., ArlettaYvette Brown Forte and husband, Eric, of Brookhaven; his brothers,Winston Brown Jr., of Brookhaven, and Alphonse Brown and wife,Juanita, of Monticello; his three sisters, Margaret Jones andhusband, Joe, Hazel Varnell and husband, Wesley, all of Chicago,Ill., and Thelma Hooker, of Lancaster, Calif.; his six grandsons;and a host of godchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives,in-laws and friends.
