Services for Bettie Janette Chadwick, of Jayess, are 11 a.m.Saturday, Feb. 14, at Pine Grove Pentecostal Church in Foxworthwith burial in Sauls Valley Cemetery in Jayess. Wilson Funeral Homein Monticello is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Chadwick, 78, died Feb. 11, 2009, at her residence. She wasborn in Mississippi on Feb. 21, 1930, to William Barney Ross andAda May Vinson.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Pine Grove PentecostalChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands, FloydWomble and Paul Chadwick; a son, Freddie Womble; her brothers, JohnRoss, Willie Ross and George Ross; her sisters, Ada Ross and JanetRoss; and a great-grandson, Hayden Boyd.

Survivors are her sons, Floyd Womble, of Las Vegas, Nev., BillJohn Womble, of Tilton, and Charles Chadwick, of Sumrall; herdaughters, Julie Wagner, of Florence, Mary Elizabeth Boyd, ofJayess, and Vivan Pittman, of Forest; her brothers, Leo G. Ross, ofBelzoni, Lewis Ross, of Cleveland, and Fred Ross, of Islo; hersisters, Ann Ramsher, of Picayune, Lucille Ross, of Yazoo City, andMittie Ross, of Islo; her 18 grandchildren; and her 16great-grandchildren.
