Ronnie Ray ‘Ronny’ Stegall

Services for Ronnie Ray “Ronny” Stegall, of Bogue Chitto, are 11a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, at Thompson Baptist Church in Smithdale withburial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Monday from 5 until 8 p.m. at Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service. A short visitation will be held from 10 until 11a.m. before the service.

Mr. Stegall, 49, died Feb. 12, 2009, in Bogue Chitto. He wasborn on July 19, 1959, to Calvin O. Stegall Jr. and Barbara (Deany)Duke Stegall.

He was a maintenance mechanical superintendent. He was agraduate of Amite School Center in Liberty, a former union vicepresident at Georgia-Pacific, lead over welding certificationprogram and mill-wide maintenance foreman. He was a member ofThompson Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, C.O.Stegall Sr. and Pauline Pennington Stegall; and his maternalgrandparents, Lloyd Duke and Daphne Cupples Duke.

Survivors are his wife, Hilda Laurent Stegall; his parents,Calvin O. Stegall Jr. and Barbara (Deany) Duke Stegall; his son,Ashley Ray Stegall and wife, Bambi Graham Stegall; his daughter,Brittney Rachelle Stegall Cutrer and husband, Stephen Lance; hisbrothers, Ricky Calvin Stegall and wife, Jeri, and Randy EvonStegall and wife, Tammie; his grandchildren, Andrew Doty, JeremyDoty, Aaron Cox, Cooper James Cutrer and Lucy MargueriteCutrer.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’sResearch Hospital and Children’s Miracle Network in memory of hisname.
