Memorial services for William Edward “Billy” Thompson Jr., ofChurch Point, La., are 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, at Guidry FuneralHome Chapel in Church Point.

Visitation is Thursday from 2 until 6 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Thompson, 33, died Feb. 17, 2009, in an automobile accidentnear Cocodrie, La. He was born to William Edward Thompson Sr. andJulie Pickering.

Survivors are his father, William Edward Thompson Sr., ofPalatka, Fla.; his mother, Julie Pickering, of Brookhaven; hiswife, Tracy Freeman Thompson, of Church Point; a son, WilliamStanley Thompson, of Church Point; his daughters, Brook Ashlie andMadison Bree Thompson, all of Church Point; his brothers, JodyThompson, of Opelousas, La., and Kerry Pickering, of Brookhaven;and his two sisters, Laura Edwards and Chelsea Pickering, both ofBrookhaven.
