Services for Katrina Marie Grant Barton Singletary, of CrystalSprings, are 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, at New Zion Baptist Churchin Crystal Springs.

Visitation is Thursday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Singletary, 37, was called to home on Feb. 21, 2009. Shewas born in Scottsdale, Ariz., on Sept. 29, 1971, to John W. Grantand Theresa Grant Tynes.

She was employed at Faust-Arrington Insurance Agency inHazlehurst. She attended St. Francis School in Bend, Ore., St.Mary’s High School in Phoenix, Ariz., Copiah Academy in Gallman andgraduated from Lawrence County High School in Monticello. As achild, she was a 4-H member who raised and showed sheep and goatsand won numerous awards. She also was a youth square dancer. Shehad a great love for horses and was an avid rider.

Preceding her in death was her maternal grandfather, John C.Kiseraukas.

Survivors are her husband, Larry Singletary, of Crystal Springs;her daughters, Alexandria Marie Barton and Ana Singletary, both ofCrystal Springs; her sons, Adam Singletary, of Hattiesburg, and AbeSingletary, of Atlanta, Ga.; her father, John W. Grant, of Bend;her mother, Theresa Grant Tynes; her stepfather, Thad Tynes; herbrothers, Andrew J. Grant and wife, Julie, and Scott Tynes andwife, Terri, all of Jayess; her two half brothers, Joey and RossGrant, of Bend; a maternal grandmother, Margaret Kiseraukas, ofPhoenix; and her paternal grandparents, Wes and Carol Grant, ofQueen Creek, Ariz., and numerous uncles, aunts and nieces andnephews.
