Deputy City Clerk Marsha Fairman said Monday that DemocraticWard Six Alderman candidate Rhonda Bussey has withdrawn from therunning. Bussey’s withdrawal letter did not state a reason for herdecision.

Bussey was to have faced Democrat Robert Kenny in the May 5primary. Independent incumbent David Phillips is also running inWard Six.
