Peggy Jean Little

Graveside services for Peggy Jean Little, of New Hebron, are 3p.m. Wednesday, March 18, at Stephens Cemetery in Silver Creek.

Visitation is Wednesday from noon until 3 p.m. at Saulters-MooreFuneral Home in Prentiss.

Mrs. Little, 46, died March 14, 2009, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center in McComb.

She was a homemaker. She was of Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death was a son, Shawn Little.

Survivors are her parents; Clifton and Dorothy Clark Herrington;her husband, David Little, of Brookhaven; and a son, Dalton Little,of New Hebron.

Tara Shae Maxwell

Services for Tara Shae Maxwell, of Wesson, are 11 a.m. Thursday,March 19, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel on Natchez Drive withburial in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Miss Maxwell, 16, died March 16, 2009, in Lincoln County. Shewas born in Pike County on Feb. 10, 1993, to Mike Maxwell andSharon Smith Maxwell.

She attended Loyd Star Attendance Center. She was a classfavorite. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents, T.R. and MaudeMaxwell and Truly and Janice Smith.

Survivors are her father, Mike Maxwell; her mother, Sharon SmithMaxwell; her stepmother, Angie Williams; a brother, Tate Maxwelland wife, Haley; a niece, Brooklynne Maxwell; his stepsisters,Kourtney and Kristian Jones; her uncles and aunts, Charles andJanice Maxwell and Mitchell and Carolyn Adams; her cousins, ShaneAdams, Jolie Hudson, Eugene Maxwell and Crystal Maxwell; and hervery best friend since the first grade, Charlee Boswell.

Leonard Washington

Services for Leonard Washington, of Bogue Chitto, are 2 p.m.Thursday, March 19, at St. Luke M.B. Church in Brookhaven withburial in Rose Hill Church Cemetery in Bogue Chitto.

Visitation is Wednesday from 1 until 7 p.m. at Williams Mortuarywith family present from 6 until 7 p.m.

Mr. Washington, 75, died March 13, 2009, at Silver Cross Home inBrookhaven. He was born in Brookhaven on Dec. 29, 1933, to JosieWashington and Wessie Mae Fields Washington.

He attended Lincoln County Training School. Mr. Washingtonretired from offshore drilling. He was a member of Rose Hill M.B.Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents and several brothers andsisters.

Survivors are his wife, Betty Johnson Washington, of BogueChitto; his sons, Johnny Washington, of Brookhaven, and AlbertWashington, of Chicago, Ill.; a daughter, Helen Marie Washington,of Brookhaven; his stepsons, Johnny Johnson, of District Heights,Md., Lewis E. Johnson, of St. Louis, Mo., Jessie Johnson, of DaleCity, Va., James Johnson, of Lawton, Okla., and Clarence Johnson,of Memphis, Tenn.; his stepdaughters, Tonya Rene Johnson, ofAtlanta, Ga., Caroline Johnson Harper, of Raleigh, N.C., JudiaJohnson Wilcher, of Brookhaven, and Phyllis Ann Wesley, of NewOrleans, La.; his sisters, Josephine Blue and Gayzella Thomas, bothof Brookhaven; his brothers, Robert Washington, Eddie Washingtonand Odis Washington, all of Brookhaven; and his many grandchildren,nieces, nephews and other relatives.
