Services for James Mitchell Coone, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Friday, March 27, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter DaySaints Red Star Ward with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. at Brookhaven FuneralHome on North Jackson Street and Friday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.at the church.

Mr. Coone, 55, died March 24, 2009, at St. Dominic-JacksonMemorial Hospital in Jackson. He was born in Hinds County on Sept.26, 1953, to James Vernon Coone and Juanita Ratcliff Coone.

He was a truck driver. He was a member of the Church of JesusChrist of Latter Day Saints Red Star Ward.

Preceding him in death were his father, James V. Coone; and asister, Carolyn Beth Coone.

Survivors are his mother, Juanita Ratcliff Coone, of Brookhaven;his wife, Helen Johnson Coone, of Brookhaven; his sons, Tim andDanny Coone, both of Brookhaven; a brother, James Stanley Coone, ofBrookhaven; his sisters, Mary Catherine Smith, of Brookhaven, andAnita Darlene Crawford, of Ocean Springs; and his twograndchildren, Garnett Lee Coone and Chloe Leanna Coone.
