Ruby McManus Jones

Services for Ruby McManus Jones, of Liberty, are 11 a.m.Thursday, April 2, at O’Zion Baptist Church in Meadville withburial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at Franklin FuneralHome in Meadville and Thursday from 10 until 11 a.m. at thechurch.

Mrs. Jones, 89, died March 30, 2009, at Liberty Community LivingCenter. She was born in Franklin County on Aug. 22, 1919, toStanford McManus and Mattie Temple McManus.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of O’Zion BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, DudeJones; a daughter, Carol Lynn; a brother; her two sisters; and agrandson, Kyle Cowart.

Survivors are her sons, Stan Jones and wife, Debbie, ofBrookhaven, and Gary Jones and wife, Cindy, of Meadville; adaughter, Dona Cowart and husband, W.H., of Smithdale; her ninegrandchildren; and her seven great-grandchildren.
