Evelyn Faye Case

Services for Evelyn Faye Case, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., formerlyof Terry, are 11 a.m. Saturday, April 11, at Brookhaven FuneralHome Chapel on North Jackson Street with burial in MacedoniaBaptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Case, 74, died April 8, 2009, at her residence inMurfreesboro. She was born in Brookhaven on July 21, 1934, to JohnDiamond and Ora Lee Bass Diamond.

She was self-employed operating a health food store and was alsoa nurse. She was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Herman RayCase; a sister, Betty Ellard; and her grandparents, Clifton IsaacBass and Abi Bass, who reared her.

Survivors are her sons, Roger Dale Case and wife, Jinni, ofClinton, and Ronald Ray Case and wife, Melanie, of Rockvale, Tenn.;a daughter, Kay Case, of Franklin, Tenn.; a sister, Lois Inez, ofTylertown; her four grandchildren, Nikki Bullock, Joshua Case, TonyCase and Emily Bartlett; her five great-grandchildren; and bynumerous nieces and nephews.

Edith Saxon Hoover

Services for Edith Saxon Hoover, of Brookhaven, are 10:30 a.m.Saturday, April 11, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inCold Springs Church of Christ Cemetery in Bogue Chitto.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Hoover, 74, died April 8, 2009, at Silver Cross Home. Shewas born on June 27, 1934, to Jim Saxon and Ludie Newby.

She was a director of housing at Pearl River CommunityCollege.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her sisters,Dorothy Redd, Laurene Warrick, Jimmie Lockman and Hattie Dano.

Survivors are her sons, Terry Hoover, of Dorango, Colo., ChrisHoover, of Bossier City, La., and Phil Hoover, of Los Banos,Calif.; a daughter, Nancy Haas, of Bogue Chitto; her 16grandchildren; and her 13 great-grandchildren.
