Services for John W. King, of Ruth, are 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 12,at Ruth Baptist Church in Ruth with burial in Ruth Cemetery.Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the church.

Mr. King, 68, died May 9, 2009, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center in McComb. He was born on April 24, 1941,to Homer King and Bonnie Alexander Knight.

He was a retired farmer. He was a member of Ruth BaptistChurch.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Homer King and BonnieAlexander Knight; his brothers, James King, Ed King, Walter Kingand Henry King; and his sisters, Nell Maxwell, Marie Nations andCharlene McCullough.

Survivors are his wife, Jannilla D. King; his sons, Willis RayKing, of Ruth, and Gary Wayne King, of Amite; his daughters, RitaFaye Miller, of Iota, La., Teresa Lynn Givins, of Ruth, and AngelaDarlene Busby, of Brookhaven; his brothers, John David King, ofPelahatchie, and Boyd Calvin King, of Columbus; a sister, Mary JuneDunaway, of McComb; his 10 grandchildren; his 11great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
