Lillie B. Kline

Services for Lillie B. Kline, of Bogue Chitto, are 1 p.m.Thursday, May 14, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto withburial in the church cemetery. R.E. Tyler Funeral Home is in chargeof arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday from noon until 1 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Kline, 85, died May 8, 2009, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center in McComb. She was born in Bogue Chitto onApril 22, 1924, to Kemp Braxton and Maggie Coleman Braxton.

She was a graduate of Jackson State College in Jackson. Mrs.Kline was also a counselor at Jackson State College and anelementary school teacher in Las Vegas, Nev. She retired as aneducator. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in BogueChitto.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Earl E.Kline; a brother, Charlie Braxton; and her sisters, Wessie Putman,Versana Harris, Eva Nell Jones and Vernell Reed.

Survivors are her stepdaughters, Ruth Kline, of Chicago, Ill.,and Patricia Kline, of Washington, D.C.; a brother, Hue EarlBraxton, of Bogue Chitto; a sister, Yvonne Sharpe, of Chicago; andtwo stepgrandchildren.

Tammy Lynn Stafford

Services for Tammy Lynn Stafford, of McComb, were 10 a.m.Wednesday, May 13, at Friendship Baptist Church in Brookhaven withburial in Montgomery Baptist Church Cemetery in Bogue Chitto.Riverwood Family Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Stafford, 34, died May 8, 2009, at her residence. She wasborn on Feb. 11, 1975, to George Ronald McClelland and PatriciaAnne McDavitt McClelland.

She was a homemaker. Mrs. Stafford was certified and held anurse’s aide degree and a pharmacy technician degree. She was ofSouthern Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her father; a sister, Beverly AnnRiguad; and a great-nephew, John Titus Charles White.

Survivors are her mother; her husband, Steven Lee Stafford; ason, James Benjamen Allen; her daughters, Hayley Tate Allen andKristal Nicole Galloway; a sister, Rhonda Sue White; abrother-in-law; her grandparents, Belle and Douglas LaFrance; and agreat aunt.
