Services for Shirley Coker Pace, of Greenwell Springs, La., arenoon Saturday, June 6, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel on NorthJackson Street with burial in Heuck’s Retreat Baptist ChurchCemetery.

Visitation is Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Pace, 72, died June 2, 2009, peacefully at her home.

She was a graduate of Heuck’s Retreat School. She was a memberof Fellowship Baptist Church and the Big R Club. Mrs. Pace was adevoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Preceding her in death were her parents, James and Joyce Coker;her husband, John C. Pace; a daughter, Kerri; a brother, FrankCoker; a sister, Eloise Jones; a father- and mother-in-law, L.B.and Irene Pace; a niece, Tina Nesmith; and a sister-in-law, KathyPace.

Survivors are her daughters, Terri Babin and fiancé, LynnDeSoto, of Baton Rouge, La., Cindy Juneau and husband, Mike, ofWatson, La., Stacy Pace, of Lafayette, La., and Kelli Buhler andfriend, Jerry Jones, of Central, La.; her five grandsons whom sheadored dearly, John Babin and girlfriend, Casie Guidry, of BatonRouge, Michael Babin and girlfriend, Mallory Laney, of Pride, La.,Joey Juneau, of Watson, La., and Larry and Dylon Buhler, ofCentral, La.; her three great-grandchildren, Calem Guidry andDayton Babin, of Baton Rouge, and Mackenzie Babin, of Pride; asister, Virginia Nesmith and husband, Marvin, of Brookhaven; and ahost of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Larry Posey, Billy Peavey, Glen Jones, StanJones, Darrell Nesmith and Max Foster.

Honorary pallbearers are Marvin Nesmith, Joel Pace, Mike Juneau,Lynn DeSoto and Jerry Jones.
