William Michael ‘Mike’ DeLaughter
Services for William Michael “Mike” DeLaughter, of Brookhaven,are 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, at Riverwood Family Funeral ServiceChapel in Brookhaven with burial in Union Baptist Church Cemeteryin Brookhaven.
Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.There will be a rosary and prayer service at the visitationbeginning at 8 p.m.
Mr. DeLaughter, 58, died June 13, 2009, in Bogue Chitto. He wasborn on Oct. 28, 1950, to William Ernest DeLaughter and Iva LucilleBlackwell DeLaughter.
He was the secretary of Fair River Masonic Lodge No. 203.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and a brother, CharlesEdward DeLaughter.
Survivors are his wife, Elizabeth DeLaughter; a son, ChrisDeLaughter and wife, Kristie; his daughters, Theresia Martin andhusband, Butch, Jennifer Townsend and husband, Chad, Angela Davisand husband, Andrew, Sabrina DeLaughter and Madeline DeLaughter;his sisters, Ernestine Conn, Faye Holmes, Sue Berry and WandaBrewer; his 11 grandchildren, Austin Townsend, Kalen Martin, Zack,Travis and Lainey DeLaughter, Joshua, Julianna and baby Townsend;Emma Lou, Colton and baby Davis.

Hubert Wayne Kent
Services for Hubert Wayne Kent, of Meadville, are 11 a.m.Wednesday, June 17, at Meadville Baptist Church with burial inMidway Cemetery. The Revs. Emory May and John Ford willofficiate.
Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 8:30 p.m. at Franklin FuneralHome.
Mr. Kent, 71, died June 14, 2009, at St. Dominic-JacksonMemorial Hospital in Jackson. He was born in Franklin County onSept. 7, 1937, to Hubert L. Kent and Mollie Sullivan Kent.
He was an employee of Armstrong Tire Co. in Natchez for 23 yearsand a retiree of the Mississippi Department of Transportation. Mr.Kent served in the Army National Guard. He was a member ofMeadville Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Hubert L. Kent andMollie Sullivan Kent; a brother; and a grandson.
Survivors are his wife, Martha Alsworth Kent, of Meadville; adaughter, Patricia Bedford, of Meadville; his sons, Wade Kent andwife, Martha Jo, of Meadville, and Keith Kent and wife, Julie, ofTerry; his brothers, Wesley Kent, of Brookhaven, and Kenneth Kent,of Meadville; his sisters, Juanita Wallace and Edwina Price, ofMeadville; and his grandsons, Zach Bedford, Will Bedford, HaydenKent and Landon Kent.
Pallbearers are Philip Price, Thomas Stewart, Kirk Williamson,M.L. Bonds, Weston Yates and Tommy Smallwood.
