Rev. William Earl Ewing

Services for the Rev. William Earl Ewing, of Calhoun City, arenoon Tuesday, June 30, at the Greater Powell Chapel A.M.E. Churchin Grenada. Clark-Williams Funeral Home in Grenada is in charge ofarrangements.

The Rev. Ewing, 48, died June 22, 2009, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. He was born on Nov. 18, 1960, to Ivory Lee andLouella Ewing.

He was the pastor of Avery Chapel A.M.E. Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and nine siblings.

Survivors are his wife, the Rev. Chenelle M. Ewing; hisdaughters, Shauntinae Mullen Ewing and Lachandrea Ewing; his son,Marques Ewing; and four godchildren.

Jeffie Mae Rollins Golmon

Services for Jeffie Mae Rollins Golmon, of Bude, were 2 p.m.Saturday, June 27, at Bude Baptist Church with burial in MidwayCemetery. The Revs. Harold Anderson and Brad Moak officiated.Franklin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Golmon, 86, died June 25, 2009, at her residence. She wasborn in Franklin County on March 6, 1923, to James Elisha Rollinsand Rosa Lena White Rollins.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Bude BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, A. H.Golmon.

Survivors are her daughters, Dorothy Case and husband, Ricky, ofBude, and Deborah Lee and husband, Roger, of Eddiceton; hergrandchildren, Lance Murray and Maeghan Lee; her stepgrandchildren,Micah, Mason and Maverick Morrison; and her special niece, BettyWeeks, and husband, Dick.

Pallbearers were Ronnie Touchstone, Wesley Ratcliff, DenverGoodson, Jerry Lee, James Jones and Vance Woodcock.

Honorary pallbearers were Larry “Sketer” Halford and JoeFrost.
