NATCHEZ — Behind a 9-strikeout, 4-hit pitching performance byCraig Bradley, the Natchez 10- year-old all stars held off theLincoln County American League 4-1 in the Dixie Youth BaseballNorth Subdistrict Six Tournament at Duncan Park. Gabe Dossett pacedNatchez with a double and a home run. Christian Day also had twohits for the River City squad.

Lincoln County AL Manager Beck Warren said, “This was a greatfundamental baseball game by two quality ball clubs. When bothteams play six innings of errorless ball and the game is basicallydecided by one swing of the bat, that’s fun baseball to be a partof.

” I’m proud of our kids and the effort they gave throughout thetournament and how they represented themselves and LincolnCounty.”

Gabe Short, Zachary Smith, Micah Smith and Britt Hughey eachsingled for Lincoln County. Short went the distance on the mound,allowing 7 hits, striking out 3 and issuing only 3 bases onballs.
