Services for Frank H. Britt Jr., of Brookhaven, are 10 a.m.Friday, July 3, at Macedonia Baptist Church in Brookhaven withburial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. at Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service in Brookhaven.

Mr. Britt, 82, died June 29, 2009, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter in Brookhaven. He was born on May 22, 1927, to Frank H.Britt Sr. and Linnie Williams Britt.

He was a cattle farmer. Mr. Britt served with the U.S. Armyduring World War II. He was a member of Macedonia BaptistChurch.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Frank H. Britt Sr. andLinnie Williams Britt; his wife, Emma Faye W. Britt; a sister,Darcus Prislovsky; and a brother-in-law, Joe Prislovsky.

Survivors are a son, Webb Britt and wife, Janice; a daughter,Sally Ogden and husband, John; his five grandchildren, Heath Britt,Casey Britt, Jody Britt, Sarah Bridge and Adam Ogden; his fivegreat-grandchildren; and his caretakers, Ann Laird and MechellePorter.
