George Austin Lott Sr.
Services for George Austin Lott Sr., of McComb, are 11 a.m.Tuesday, July 21, at Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home Chapel in McCombwith burial in Hollywood Cemetery.
Visitation is Monday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral homewith Masonic services at 6 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 11a.m.
Mr. Lott, 90, died July 18, 2009, at McComb Nursing and RehabCenter in McComb. He was born in McHenry on Jan. 28, 1919, toDaniel Houston and Mary Ella Redmond.
He was a retired owner of Lott Plumbing and Air Conditioning.Before starting his own business more than 50 years ago, he beganworking for Sanders Hardware in McComb. He was a member of theBaptist faith. He was a member of the McComb City Lodge No. 382F&AM and was a member of the Wahabi Shriner’s Temple inJackson.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Lottie RuthWade Lott; a son-in-law, James Grammer; a brother, Raymond Lott;his two sisters, Christine Bachelor and Dorothy Parsons.
Survivors are a son, George Lott Jr., of Summit; a daughter,Linda Grammer, of Brookhaven; a brother, Bobby Lott, of BatonRouge, La.; a sister-in-law; a devoted friend; his fivegrandchildren; and his nine great-grandchildren.
James Ronald ‘Ronnie’ Russell
Services for James Ronald “Ronnie” Russell, of Brookhaven, are 2p.m. Tuesday, July 21, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapelwith burial in Riverwood Memorial Park.
Visitation is Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mr. Russell, 43, died July 17, 2009, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. He was born on Aug. 15, 1965, to BoyceRussell and Betty Jo Thames Russell.
He was a boilermaker for Turner Industries. He was a member ofMt. Zion Church of Christ.
Preceding him in death were his father, Boyce Russell; and hisfirst wife, Kathy Sue Martin Russell.
Survivors are his mother, Betty Jo Thames Russell; his wife,Trista Russell; his sons, James “Bronson” Russell and Ronald”Teague” Russell, both of Brookhaven; a daughter, Shasta LashaeRussell, of Wesson; his brothers, Timmy Wayne Russell and wife,Tricia, of Brookhaven, John Paul Russell and wife, Rachel, and WadeRussell and wife, Patty, all of Ruth; his sisters, Joy Smith andhusband, Dean, and Debbie Norton and husband, Dale, all ofBrookhaven; his three grandchildren; and a special friend andbrother, Orville Martin.

Frederick Douglas Stanton
Services for Frederick Douglas Stanton, of Brookhaven, are 11a.m. Wednesday, July 22, at Bethel A.M.E. Church in Brookhaven withburial in Rosehill City Cemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday from 1 until 7 p.m. at Williams Mortuaryin Brookhaven with family present from 6 until 7 p.m.
Mr. Stanton, 50, died July 15, 2009, at the University ofMississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born in Meridian onAug. 11, 1958, to the Rev. R.L. Stanton Sr. and FrancesStanton.
He was a 1976 Brookhaven High School graduate and he attendedJackson State University.
Preceding him in death were his father, the Rev. R.L. Stanton; abrother, Paul Stanton; and a paternal grandmother, Cora MaeEvans.
Survivors are his mother, Frances Stanton, of Brookhaven; adaughter, Natorie LaShon Wilson, of Brookhaven; a son, FrederickDelon Wilson, of Riverdale, Ga.; his brothers, Robert L. StantonJr., of Panama City, Fla., and Edgar L. Stanton, of Washington,D.C.; a sister, Naomi L. Stanton, of Brookhaven; his fourgrandchildren; and his many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews andother relatives.
