Adams Auto 2nd in State

RIDGELAND – The Adams Auto Service All-Stars made a strongshowing in the 8-Under Coach/Pitch ASA State Softball Tournament atFreedom Ridge Park. They won three of five games and finishedrunners-up to the Southern Belles, losing a narrow 11-10decision.

Adams Auto, coached by Jay Nations, Shannon Poole, Regina Pooleand Joel Nations, defeated Woolmarket 10-0 in their firsttournament test before losing a close 13-12 decision to theClarksdale Hot Shots. They rebounded and defeated Northwest Rankin16-10, Aftershock 8-5 and the Hot Shots 13-6.
