Services for Lois Pearl Cronin McDavid, of Liberty, were 2 p.m.Saturday, July 25, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter DaySaints Red Star Ward with burial in the church cemetery. HarrigillFuneral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McDavid, 82, died July 20, 2009, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center in McComb. She was born on July 27, 1926,to Casper Carl Cronin and Mary Dorcas Cronin.
She was a devoted wife, mother and granny. She was a member ofthe Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, JohnWesley McDavid; and her half brothers, Francis and Germaine.
Survivors are her daughters, Melody Stickling and husband,Michael, of Brookhaven, Judith Beaudette and husband, Paul J., ofGonzales, La., Wanda Klein and husband Emile “E.J.”, of St. Amant,La., and Terry Ferdinand and husband, Darrel, of New Orleans, La.;a brother, Carl C. “Bug” Cronin and wife, Glory, of Brookhaven; asister, Joan Duncan and husband, David, of North Carolina; herhalf-sisters, Conchita, Bretina and Laveena; her 10 grandchildren,Brent Stickling, Veronica Stickling, Victoria Stickling, KyleStickling, Amy La Porte and husband, Nathan, Lisa Dickinson andhusband, Jimmy, Michelle Klein, Andrew Ferdinand, BrittanyFerdinand and Christopher Ferdinand; a great-grandchild, LandonWade La Porte; and a host of nieces and nephews.
