Katie Joe Moak

Services for Katie Joe Moak, of Bogue Chitto, are 2 p.m. Friday,Aug. 7, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel with burial inArlington Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Moak, 75, died Aug. 4, 2009, at her residence. She was bornon May 3, 1934, to Joseph W. Sasser Jr. and Bernice GreerSasser.

She was a private sitter. She was a member of Arlington BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, RichardRay Moak Jr.; a sister, Margaret Thomas; and a brother-in-law,Willie Thompson.

Survivors are a son, William Wade Moak; a daughter, Margaret L.Moak; a sister, Martha Jean Thomason; her two grandchildren,Montana Moak and Denver Moak; and her nieces, Martha Boyte andhusband, Ed, and Amy Boyte and husband, James. All of her family isfrom Bogue Chitto.

Pallbearers are James Boyte, Ed Boyte, Danny Sasser, Sid Sasser,David Burns and Don Burns.

Wanda Westridge

Graveside services for Wanda Westridge, of Boca Raton, Fla., are5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, at the Summit Jewish Cemetery. R.E. TylerFuneral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Westridge, 88, died July 31, 2009, at the hospice andpalliative care unit of Pinecrest Rehabilitation Hospital in DelrayBeach, Fla. She was born in Senath, Mo., on Nov. 3, 1920, to JamesDallas Smith and Lottie Mae Pepper Smith.

She was a University of Arkansas graduate. Mrs. Westridge was aformer of dietician.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband,Maurice Westridge.

Survivors are a son, David Westridge, of North Carolina; herdaughters, Susan DesRochers, of Boca Raton, Beth Levy and DianaStein, both of Israel; her eight grandhchildren; and her fourgreat-grandchildren.
