Services for Sharod LaJuan Wilkes Jr., of Vicksburg, are 4 p.m.Sunday, Aug. 9, at Williams Mortuary Chapel with burial inHillcrest Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday from 3 until 4 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Infant Wilkes, 5 months, died Aug. 6, 2009, at University ofMississippi Medical Center. He was born in Jackson on Feb. 26,2009, to Sharod L. Wilkes Sr. and Alisha McArthur Wilkes.

Survivors are his father, Sharod Wilkes Sr.; his mother, AlishaMcArthur Wilkes; his sisters, Ashara Wilkes and Shaliah Wilkes; hismaternal grandparents, Dr. Willie L. McArthur and Mrs. MableMcArthur; his paternal grandparents, Sandra and Allie B. Kilbertand Willie and Gloria Kimes; and many aunts, uncles, cousins andother relatives.
