Services for Judith Anne Hughes Gerald, of Monticello, are 2p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapelwith burial in Riverwood Memorial Park in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Gerald, 59, died Sept. 7, 2009, at the University ofMississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was born on Aug. 12,1950, to Eunice Hughes Jr. and Era Lee Johnson Hughes.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Eunice Hughes Jr. andEra Lee Johnson Hughes; her two brothers; and a sister.

Survivors are her sons, Phillip Gerald and Timothy Gerald, bothof Bogue Chitto; a daughter, Pamela Wallace, of Bogue Chitto; herbrothers, Jerry Hughes, of Brookhaven, Ted Hughes and David Hughes,both of Summit; her sisters, Elizabeth Whittington, of Smithdale,Shelia Smith, of Brookhaven, and Patricia Blailock, of Liberty; herfive grandchildren; a very special friend, Jesse Allen Mcleod, ofMobile, Ala.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services for Ernest Monroe Gray Jr., of Meadville, were 11 a.m.Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Praise Cathedral Church of God in Meadvillewith burial in O’Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Meadville.Marshall Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Gray, 68, died Sept. 7, 2009, at his residence. He was bornin Franklin County on Aug. 17, 1941, to Ernest Gray Sr. and Ann MayGray.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his sons, Ernest Allen Gray III and Jonathan CraigGray; a grandson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services for Irma S. McCaffrey, of Brookhaven, were 11 a.m.Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel on NatchezDrive with burial in Cold Springs Church of Christ Cemetery.

Mrs. McCaffrey, 106, died Sept. 7, 2009, at Silver Cross Home inBrookhaven. She was born in Franklin County on July 5, 1903, toH.R. Stringer Sr. and Gertrude Boone Stringer.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Cold Springs Church ofChrist.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, JimMcCaffrey; a son, J.B. McCaffrey; and a daughter, Irma JeanLeggett.

Survivors are her brothers, H.R. Stringer Jr., of Brookhaven,and Quentin Stringer, of Jackson; a sister, Eunice E. Case, ofBrookhaven; a daughter-in-law, Margie McCaffrey; her threegrandchildren, Richard McCaffrey, Charma Johnson, both of BogueChitto, and Fonda Nunnery, of Brookhaven; her 10great-grandchildren, Melane Crosby, Richard Tate McCaffrey, TrinidyWilson, Misty Coleman, Josh Allred, Page Nelson, Dawn Freeman,Andrew Johnson, Letitia Ham and Heather Mathes; and her 24great-great-grandchildren.
