Services for Peggy A. Bardwell, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Friday, Oct. 23, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel inBrookhaven with burial in Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Bardwell, 67, died Oct. 20, 2009, at her residence. She wasborn on Aug. 22, 1942, to Melvin Chunn and Vita “BeBe”McKlemurry.

She was a nurse at Beacham Memorial Hospital and the MagnoliaClinic. She was of the Full Gospel faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Melvin and VitaChunn.

Survivors are her husband, Dennis A. Bardwell, of Brookhaven;her sons, Bubba Bardwell and Darvin Bardwell, both of Brookhaven; adaughter, Denise “NeeCee” Childress and husband, Tommy, ofBrookhaven; her brothers, Darrel Chunn and wife, Joann, of McComb,and Jimmy Chunn and wife, Ruby, of Greenville; a sister, JerryMcDaniel and husband, Bobby, of Gillsburg; her eight grandchildren,Jason Childress and wife, Emily, April Carson and husband, Derek,Aaron Bardwell, Eric Bardwell, Angie Bardwell, Angel Bardwell,Ashlea Bardwell and Jimmy Bardwell; her four great-grandchildren,Grayson Childress, Blake Russ, Morgan Childress and KayleighCarson; her other family members, Jennifer Furlow and TanyaBardwell; and a number of nieces and nephews.
